Well, I did better than the first event. I came in last in the first WBPT tournament, which was Pot Limit Omaha, a game I had never really played before.
This time it was NL Hold-Em. I know that game, I'm pretty good.
Sometimes it doesn't matter.
Around 20 minutes in I'm dealt KK in early position. I raise to 150 (3X BB), a late position player raises to 400, I re-raise to 800 & he calls. Pot is 1800. Flop comes down 676, I bet 500, he goes all-in & I call. He flops over QQ. Since I am writing this only half hour after the tournament started, you know what happens next, 4th street is a Q and 5th street is a 7 and I'm done.
At least this time I came in 2nd to last.
